Backseat Driver

When Nicole was born we had to do some rearranging of the car seats to get all three to fit in our backseat (this was a lot more challenging then it sounds, looks like it's time to upgrade to a mini-van!) Because of this, Ethan's seat is now in a position where he has a much better view of the road and he has suddenly become quite the backseat driver. He is extreamly aware of all the different signs along the road. He started by just asking things like "what does that sign say?", then went to "Mom, we need to turn that way, the sign has an arrow pointing that way!", and now has even told me "Mom! That's a stop sign! You need to stop!" It's fun to know he is so aware of his surroundings and is watching the road so carefully. I can only hope he is the same way when he starts driving!!
